Start of construction on new multifunctional building
in-Tec Bensheim expands storage and production space again
(in-Tec Bensheim) Already at the end of 2016 it was clear: the premises of in-Tec Bensheim GmbH have to be developed further in order to do justice to the versatile range of services of the company. In November it was time: the excavators rolled on the in-Tec area again. "With our many years of experience in cable manufacturing, we have been offering more solutions for high-voltage cabling for two years now. Production requires a corresponding storage and production area, which we will receive with the new building, "explains Stefan Krug, Managing Director of in-Tec Bensheim. The new building has a total area of about 1,500 square meters. Of these, 450 square meters are planned as a general storage and production area. 420 square meters are specially designed for cable assembly, another 150 square meters for the documentation and archiving of orders and developments. 120 square meters serve as social spaces and around 300 square meters are kept as reserve space. Completed and ready for occupancy, the new building is expected to be in fall 2018.
With the location grow performance capacities
in-Tec Bensheim started more than two decades with assembly manufacturing and cable assembly. Since then, the company has been growing steadily at a location in the midst of the Rhine-Main-Neckar metropolitan region. As the location grew, so too did the performance capacities gradually increase. Today, the company supports its business partners through its functions as a system supplier, OEM manufacturer and contract manufacturer, as well as in development processes and warehouse logistics.
"Together with our partners, we develop technical solutions for innovations, manufacture prototypes and help make them marketable," says Stefan Krug. "With our experienced, expert team and the high-quality equipment, in-Tec Bensheim manufactures connection technologies according to the VDA standard and offers individual connection solutions, especially for short runs." The new multifunctional building creates the spatial basis for in-Tec Bensheim competent contact person to help shape the future of electromobility.
